- Over the southwest flank
From the Hinteren Suwaldspitze either over its mountain pine-covered east ridge ( difficulty I ), or over footsteps in the south flank to the lowest point. From there to the edge of the rugged southwest flank and on it to the summit. The transition takes about an hour in total.
- Across the Läckekar from the northeast
From the Bichlbächler Jöchle or the Fernpass into the broad Läckekar, which is bordered in the north by the Rote Stein and the Stierkopf and in the south by the east ridge of the Steinmandlspitze. Here to the southwest over grass ridge, then very steeply over the rubble-strewn Schrofen ramp to the summit. The tour takes four hours from the Fernpass.
- Over the east ridge
From the lower floor of the Läckekar to the rugged beginning of the east ridge and on this over brittle plates (I) to the summit. This variant also takes four hours from the Fernpass.
- From the red stone
From the Red Stone you can reach the Steinmandlspitze via the jagged and fragile connecting ridge (II).
