Stella Seeberg

Stella Seeberg (born July 24, 1901 in Dorpat , Russian Empire , † December 2, 1979 in Kellinghusen ) was a German economist.

Life

Alfred Seeberg's daughter studied economics and psychology in Rostock , Kiel and Munich from 1920 to 1923 . After completing her doctorate in Munich in 1924 (summa cum laude) with the subject of career counseling , she was an assistant at the Agricultural Institute in Rostock from 1932 to 1936. In 1939 she became deputy head of the agricultural policy department at the economic institute in Berlin. After her habilitation in Berlin in 1939, she became a lecturer in economics at the University of Graz in 1942 ( retired from service as a Reich German in 1945 ). From 1948 to 1958 she was a consultant at the Research Center for Education, Eastern Church Issues and Issues for Displaced Persons, and temporarily a member of the scientific advisory board of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs . In 1961 she became a lecturer at the University of Göttingen . After her rehabilitation in Göttingen in 1964 , she was a lecturer in political economy and social policy from 1964 to 1971.
