Stephan Schesch (* 1967 in Munich ) is a German film producer .

Life

After receiving a scholarship at the French “Academie Carat”, Schesch initially worked as a speaker in the entertainment department of RTL and the programming department of SAT.1 . He specialized in this area through an internship at the animation production company Film Roman in Los Angeles . As chief developer of the “Trickompany” he was responsible for the TV cartoon series Max & Moritz , which was awarded the Erich Kästner Prize , and for the cartoon series Nick & Perry . As a co-producer he worked on the box office successes Werner - Volles Rooäää !!! and little asshole with.

Stephan Schesch worked as a consultant for Columbia TriStar , Saban , Bavaria Film and Hahn Film , among others . As managing director he works for Ellipse Germany and Odeon Animation.

At the turn of the year 2008, Schesch took over Animation X as the sole shareholder and merged it with his own company to form Schesch Filmkreation GmbH & Co KG.

As a writer, producer and director he made the cartoon The Moon Man based on the picture book by Tomi Ungerer . The film had its world premiere at the animation festival in Annecy / France and its Germany premiere at the Munich Film Festival was 2012.
