Stephan von Marso (* 1971 in Kirchdorf an der Krems ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Stephan von Marso attended the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz for one year (1989/1990) . He then went to Hamburg , where he studied drama , singing and dance for three years from 1990 to 1993 at the Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama . In 1993 he graduated from the Stage School. From 1994–1996 he was several times in Los Angeles , where he attended various acting courses.

Von Marso works as an actor for the stage , film and television .

As a theater actor in Hamburg he initially had engagements at the Children's Theater Altona (season 1993/1994, as Prince and King in Sleeping Beauty ), in the Zeisehallen Hamburg (1994 as drum major, captain and doctor in Woyzeck ; 2000 as a student Roelle in Purgatory in Ingolstadt ) and at the Neue Metropol Theater (in the ensemble of the musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story ). This was followed by engagements at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the Ernst Deutsch Theater in the 1998/1999 and 1990/2000 seasons . At the Schauspielhaus Hamburg he played smaller roles in the productions Ein Sportstück (directed by Christof Nel ) and König Lear ; at the Ernst Deutsch Theater he took on leading roles, including as a magician in Tischlein deck dich (1999) and as Riese Rüpel in Das brave Schneiderlein (2000).

In Berlin he had engagements at the Theater Tribüne (2001) and in 2004 at the Spandau open-air stage in Berlin-Spandau . There he embodied the doctor Dr. Leopold Neumeister in the comedy The Robbery of the Sabine Women .

In 2005 he performed at the Cloister Games in Feuchtwangen . There he played the servant Tranio in the Shakespeare comedy The Taming of the Shrew and the servant Alfred in a stage version of the children's book Michel from Lönneberga . In 2007 he performed at the Contra-Kreis-Theater in Bonn as dispatch manager and grumpy boss Frank Collins in the comedy Ganz Kerle! by the successful Canadian author Kerry Renard .

On television , Stephan von Marso had roles in various television series . He mostly played episode roles (both leading and supporting roles). He was, among other things, in the television series The Brazen Three and 112 - You save your life to see. He also took on roles in the game scenes of the television show Aktenzeichen XY ... unsolved .
