Stephanie Moseley (born 1984 in Vancouver , British Columbia , † December 8, 2014 in Los Angeles , California ) was a Canadian dancer and actress .

Life

Stephanie Moseley was born in Vancouver in 1984. In 2004 she moved to Los Angeles to work as a dancer. Moseley realized her dream by going on tour with Britney Spears . She then stood in front of the camera for music videos by Beyoncé , Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears. Moseley also found a job on Janet Jackson's tour in 2005, before starring in the drama Idlewild as a China dancer alongside Terrence Howard , André Benjamin and Big Boi a year later . The following year, she was in the 17th episode of the fourth season of Cold Case .

This was followed by appearances in films such as Breaking Dawn - Until (s) until the end of the night: Part 1 (2011), Mirror Mirror - The Really True Story of Snow White and Sparkle (both 2012). In 2013 she was also seen as a dancer in the television film Psych Makes Music: World Stars Sing elsewhere , an offshoot of the US television series Psych . In the same year she played the role of Devil Girl in the television series Hit the Floor for 14 episodes.

Moseley was shot by her husband Earl Hayes , an American rapper , before he died by suicide .
