Stephen Ure

Stephen Ure (born March 28, 1958 in Sydney , New South Wales ) is an Australian actor .

Life

Ure's first film appearance was in Death Hill in 1992, which featured New Zealand actors Jed Brophy and John Leigh , among others . However, Ure only gained fame through the films The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King . In The Two Towers he played the orc Grishnákh and in The Return of the King the orc Gorbag. Other famous films from Ures were Dark Stories: Tales from Beyond the Grave and Perfect Creature . He also had a small appearance in The Chronicles of Narnia: The King of Narnia . In The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) and its sequel The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013), he again played two orcs: the wargreiter Fimbul and the torturer Grinnah. In 2015 he starred in the New Zealand horror comedy Deathgasm .
