Sternblut is a German rock and pop - band from Ebenhofen in Ostallgäu and was founded in 2006 by siblings Deborah (born December 2, 1993) and Ramona Holzmann (born August 20, 1992).
history
Ramona and Deborah wrote their first songs at the age of eight and founded their first band Goldrausch in 2002 together with other musicians from the area. At that time Deborah was still playing the electric bass and was nine years old, Ramona was already playing the piano . In 2006 the band broke up and the two sisters formed Sternblut that same year.
In 2008 one was A & R of Warner to the two attentive and they signed a recording contract with the Warner Music Group. In the same year, the song Come on, let's paint our lives, became the theme song of the You Messe in Berlin . They also played as a support band for Killerpilze . Sternblut is better known throughout Germany, since Come We Paint Our Life is used for a Telekom commercial . This has been running on German private channels since October 2009 . In autumn, the star blood song Forever was played several times in the ARD series Marienhof . From October, at the same time as the commercial was published, the song Come on, let's paint our lives was available for download. In addition, the songs from her album Stark were often played in the series Everything that counts .
On June 26, 2011, Sternblut musically opened the women's soccer World Cup before the first game, France against Nigeria in Sinsheim .
Deborah Holzmann temporarily withdrew from the band in 2013 to concentrate on her professional training. Therefore, on the single Are You Ready , released in October 2013, only Ramona Holzmann can be heard.
