Steve Walsh (musician)
Steve Walsh (born June 15, 1951 in St. Louis , Missouri , USA ) is best known as the singer and keyboardist of the American rock band Kansas , of which he belonged from 1972 to 2014 with interruptions.
Career
Walsh was and is also involved in many projects solo. Among other things, he worked with Magellan Trent Gardner together (Glossolalia , Leonardo and Explorer's Club) and took with Daniele Liverani album Khymera on. In the 1980s he also founded the group Streets .
His two last solo works (Glossolalia and Shadowman) are characterized by a very independent songwriting that differs significantly from the last Kansas albums and also from Schemer-Dreamer .
In May 2007 he recorded two new songs with Joel Kosche of Collective Soul , David Ragsdale of Kansas and Joe Franco , which are exclusively distributed over the Internet.
