Steve Yedlin

Steven M. Yedlin (born September 29, 1975 in Los Angeles ) is an American cameraman .

Life

Yedlin has been in the film business since the mid-1990s. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television. Initially, he was involved in various productions, including commercials, as a camera assistant and gaffer , and as a cameraman he worked on several short films. From 1999 various film productions followed, in which he appeared as chief cameraman. Brick from 2005 marked the first collaboration with director Rian Johnson , with whom he is also friends. Other joint projects followed, most recently in December 2017 Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 2019 Knives Out - Murder is a family matter .

Yedlin has been a member of the American Society of Cinematographers since 2015 .
