Steven Lang (born September 3, 1987 ) is a Swiss football player . He plays as an all-rounder in midfield.

Career

Lang first played for the French fourth division club FC Nantes Atlantique B for two seasons . There he scored one goal in 31 games. For the 2007/08 season he moved to the Swiss first division club Neuchâtel Xamax and played 24 games in his first season and scored two goals. On the next season (2008/09) he moved in the same league to FC Aarau , where he had 22 appearances. In the meantime he played for the Aargau U-21 team.

On July 1, 2010 his contract signature was announced at the Grasshopper Club Zurich , which is valid for a limited period of four years. For the 2011/12 season he was loaned to FC Lausanne-Sport .

Lang has been playing for FC Vaduz since July 1, 2014.

On July 24, 2015, FC St. Gallen announced that Steven Lang was moving from Vaduz to Eastern Switzerland with immediate effect. There he was loaned to FC Schaffhausen on January 4, 2017 until the end of the season. He scored 14 goals in 17 games by the end of the season. Lang then moved back to Servette FC Genève , where he was already on loan in the 2012/13 season. At the beginning of the 2018/19 season he had to undergo cruciate ligament surgery and was out for a long time. At the end of 2019, he was first used in the second team, which still runs under the name U-21. At the end of the 2019/20 season , his contract with Servette was no longer renewed.
