The Brack.ch Challenge League 2018/19 was the 121st season of the second highest Swiss division in men's football. Ten teams took part in the Challenge League. It began on July 21, 2018 and ended on May 26, 2019 with the 36th matchday. From December 18, 2018 to February 1, 2019, it was interrupted by a winter break.

The Challenge League was held for the seventh time with ten teams. Ten clubs competed four times against each opponent, twice at home and twice away. In total, each team played 36 games. The first placed rose to the Super League at the end of the season , the last placed into the Promotion League . For the first time since the 2011/12 season, an extraordinary general assembly decided to reintroduce the barrage for the two highest leagues. Thus, in the future, the team on rank 2 will play against the ninth place in the Super League for promotion to the top division.

    • For the first time, on the occasion of an extraordinary general assembly of the Swiss Football League , it was decided to allow four substitutions per team in one game in future in order to give young players greater opportunities to play.
    • It was also decided to relax the kick-off times. In addition to the elimination of the Monday game, the respective home team can set the face-off time on Saturday between 5 and 8 p.m., on Sunday between 2.30 and 4 p.m. and during the week between 7 and 8 p.m.
