Aldin Turkes (born April 22, 1996 in Zug ) is a Swiss - Bosnian football player .

Career

Turkes played for FC Luzern during his youth , switched to the offspring of Grasshopper Club Zurich in 2012 and two years later to city rivals FC Zurich . He made his debut in the first team of FC Zurich on the 22nd matchday of the 2015/16 season against BSC Young Boys , where he came on for Gilles Yapi in the 87th minute when the score was 0: 1 . On May 29, 2016, he won the Swiss Cup with FC Zurich , although he was not used. In the final against FC Lugano (1-0), he sat on the bench for 90 minutes.

FC Vaduz

On August 1, 2016, FC Vaduz announced the signing of Turkes. He signed a three-year contract until June 30, 2019. In his first season he won the Liechtenstein Cup and was named top scorer with 10 goals in 3 games. In the championship , however, things went less well. On the penultimate matchday against FC Luzern (2-2), relegation to the Challenge League was sealed. Turkes made a total of 24 appearances in the 2016/17 season and scored a goal against FC Luzern on the penultimate matchday.

FC Rapperswil-Jona

In January 2018, Turkes switched to league rivals FC Rapperswil-Jona on loan until the end of the season . In addition, the Rapperswiler secured the option of a definitive takeover for the new 2018/19 season. In his third game for St. Gallen against third-placed FC Schaffhausen , he scored his first two goals for his new employer in a 3-1 win. At the end of the season he had eight goals in 15 games, which meant that FC Rapperswil-Jona definitely took him over from FC Vaduz and provided him with a two-year contract.
