João Pedro Abreu de Oliveira (born January 6, 1996 ) is a Swiss - Portuguese football player who is under contract with FC Lausanne-Sport in the Challenge League .

Career

João Pedro Abreu de Oliveira spent his junior years with the clubs FC Gingins , FC Stade Nyonnais , FC Basel and FC Luzern.

In the summer of 2015 he made the leap into the squad of the first team of FC Luzern in the Super League, where he signed his first professional contract on May 31, 2015 until the end of June 2017. He made his debut on July 18, 2015 in the home game against FC Sion . He scored his first competitive goal for the first team in the first main round of the Swiss Cup on August 16, 2015 in an away win against Servette FC Genève with a final result of 2: 5. On August 21, 2016 Oliveira scored his first championship goal in the Super League for FC Luzern in a 3-0 home win against FC Thun. Oliveira extended his contract early on December 21, 2016 until the end of June 2019.

On August 15, 2017, Oliveira was loaned to Lechia Gdańsk in the Polish Ekstraklasa for a year until the end of June 2018 with the option of a permanent takeover .

After the loan deal with Lechia Gdańsk ended, Oliveira initially returned to FC Luzern, but was sold to FC Lausanne-Sport for the new 2018/19 season , where he signed a three-year contract.

National team

João Pedro Abreu de Oliveira has so far completed various international junior matches from U-15 to U-21 for Switzerland. He is currently in the squad of the Swiss U-21 national team.
