Igor Nganga (born April 14, 1987 ) is a football player from the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo . The defender grew up in Switzerland and is therefore not part of the quota of foreigners.

Career

Nganga was loaned to FC Chiasso in the Challenge League until the end of June 2008 in November 2007 . For the 2008/09 season he moved to FC Schaffhausen also in the Challenge League. There he rose to captain and made his breakthrough in the Challenge League. For the 2011/12 season Nganga was signed by FC Aarau , he signed for three years. Thanks to the club's promotion, he will be used in the Raiffeisen Super League for the 2013/14 season .

For the 2005/06 season Nganga moved from FC Lausanne-Sport from the Challenge League to BSC Young Boys . For this club he was mainly used in the U-21 and had only a few appearances in the professional team.

For the 2018/19 season he moved from FC Aarau to league competitor FC Lausanne-Sport , where he signed a two-year contract until summer 2020.

Trivia

Igor Nganga became a fixture in midfield and the fan scene at FC Aarau. Whenever he scores a goal, the song Gangnam Style by Psy is played in his honor in the stadium .
