The Stevenia are a genus of plants in the cruciferous family (Brassicaceae). The genus includes four species that are native to China , Mongolia and Russia .
The genus was named after Christian von Steven .
description
In Stevenia TYPES is one, two or perennial herbaceous plant with upright, often halfway up the stems to verzweigendem growth. The plants are covered with star hair. The simple leaves are oblong-round.
The flowers stand together in racemose inflorescences without bracts. The four-fold flowers are hermaphroditic with double perianth . The four sepals are rounded and oblong. The four petals are white, pink, purple or yellowish. The six stamens carry ovate to rounded elongated anthers . The ovaries contain (rarely two to) usually four to forty ovules .
