Stezewa ( Ukrainian and Russian Стецева , Polish Stecowa ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 3200 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1472, was destroyed several times by migrating Tatars in the 16th and 17th centuries.
Stezewa is the administrative center of the eponymous, 33.903 km² district council in the northeast of Snjatyn Rajon , to which the village of Steziwka ( Стецівка , ⊙ ) with about 210 inhabitants belongs.
The village is located on the border with Chernivtsi Oblast, 12 km north of Snyatyn district center and 90 km southeast of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast center . The regional road P-20 runs through the village .
