The Stikal Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Стикъл wrach Stikal ) is a 1940 m high and rocky mountain in the Ellsworth Mountains of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In Owen Ridge , the southernmost part of the main ridge of the Sentinel Range , it rises 2.3 km southeast of Lishness Peak , 5.4 km southwest of Marze Peak , 8.7 km northwest of Arsela Peak and 13.83 km east to south of the Bergison Peak . The lower section of the Nimitz Glacier lies to the southwest, the Wessbecher Glacier to the northeast of it.
American scientists mapped it in 1961 and 1988. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after the town of Stikal in southern Bulgaria .
