Stina Hofgård Nilsen (born September 24, 1979 in Bergen ) is a former Norwegian ski racer .

Career

Stina Hofgård Nilsen specialized in giant slalom . In the European Cup she achieved one victory and five second places. Her first race in the World Cup was the giant slalom in Åre on January 28, 1998 . Nilsen achieved her first World Cup points in January 2000 with 27th place in the giant slalom in Berchtesgaden . She was able to place nine times in the top 10 and three times on the podium in the top 3. Her only World Cup victory was on January 27, 2002 at the giant slalom in Cortina d'Ampezzo .

Stina Hofgård Nilsen took part in the 2001 World Championships in St. Anton , the 2002 Olympic Games in Park City and the 2003 World Championships in St. Moritz , but was always eliminated in the first round of the giant slalom.

In March 2004 she ended her career in ski racing.
