Stone Brewing Berlin

The first branch in Europe was a brewery in 2015 and the large restaurant Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Berlin in Berlin-Mariendorf in 2016 .

Stone Brewing announced the opening of a brewery in Berlin-Mariendorf in 2014, after examining several European locations since 2010. The planned investment was put at 25 million US dollars . The company has settled in the Marienpark Berlin business park on the site of the disused Mariendorf gasworks on Lankwitzer Strasse. The space and buildings rented by Stone Brewing were expanded and converted from summer 2014. In addition to the brewing facility in the historic Reinigerhaus and a bottling facility, a restaurant, a garden bar and factory outlet for beer, glasses and T-shirts were built by 2016.

It was planned to fill more than 100,000 hectoliters per year. The first brew was brewed in the 10 hectolitre facility in November 2015. In 2016 the main system with a capacity of 100 hectoliters was completed.

The large restaurant Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens offers space for up to 1200 guests on 2400 square meters in the historic building and the adjoining gardens. Up to 65 different craft beers are served and dishes are offered.

In 2018 the company opened another restaurant with 1200 seats in Berlin with the Stone Brewing Tap Room - Prenzlauer Berg ( English taproom , drinking room ).

In April 2019, Koch announced that the Mariendorf location would be sold to BrewDog on May 1, 2019 .
