Stoppila Sunzu (also Stophira Sunzu ; born June 22, 1989 in Chingola ) is a Zambian football player.
Career
Sunzu started his career at Afrisports . In 2005 he joined the Konkola Blades with his brother Felix Sunzu . In 2007 he returned to his youth club and played in the following seasons on loan with Zanaco FC and in France with LB Châteauroux . This was followed by five years at Tout Puissant Mazembe . During the 2013/14 winter break, he moved to Ligue 1 for FC Sochaux , but left the club after a year and was sold to the Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua . For the 2015/16 season he returned to France, as Shanghai awarded him to Lille OSC . In February 2017, Sunzu was awarded to the Russian club Arsenal Tula .
International
Sunzu made his international debut for Zambia in 2008 against Botswana . He also played on the Zambian U-20 team and presented his country at the U-20 World Cup in Canada. In the final of the African Cup of Nations 2012 , he converted the decisive penalty for Zambia's tournament victory.
