Stora mossen is an above-ground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Ulvsunda district . The station is served by the Gröna linjen of the Stockholm subway system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. 3,000 commuters get on here on a normal working day.

The station was commissioned as the 25th station on October 26, 1952, when the Hötorget - Vällingby subway section was inaugurated. The platforms are above ground, right next to the Drottningholmsvägen expressway . The station is located between the Alvik and Abrahamsberg stations . It is about five kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
