The Yekaterinburg Tram is a wide-gauge tram in the Russian city ​​of Yekaterinburg . It was opened on November 7, 1929.

Today the railway covers a network of 81.9 kilometers, on which 29 lines operate. The network is used almost exclusively by almost 400 Czech Tatra trams . In recent years, the railway has faced stiff competition from the metro , which opened in 1991, in addition to the trolleybus that has been in service since 1943 . Despite the expansion of the metro , no lines are planned to be discontinued.
