The road system in Belgium is divided into different categories.

The Belgian motorways connect the main cities in the country. They are labeled with an A, whereby the European street number is usually more important. The maximum speed is 120 km / h.

The national roads are the most important interurban roads in Belgium. The current numbering of the road network has existed since 1986.

B-roads

The B-roads are motorway access roads . The numbering is carried out by a preceding B followed by a three-digit number.
