Strachil Wenkow Popow ( Bulgarian Страхил Венков Попов ; English Strahil Popov ; born August 31, 1990 in Blagoevgrad ) is a Bulgarian football player .

Career

societies

Popow passed through the junior departments of PFC Pirin Blagoevgrad and Pirin in 2008 and began his professional career in 2011 at Litex Lovetsch . Here he played until the beginning of 2016. During this time at Lovetsch he was loaned to the Lokomotive Mesdra and PFK Montana clubs .

For the second half of the 2015/16 season he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to Kasımpaşa Istanbul . For the second half of the 2019/20 season, he moved to the Turkish second division club Hatayspor.

National team

Popov started his national team career in 2008 with a commitment for the Bulgarian U-19 national team . He also played for the Bulgarian U-21 national team from 2009 to 2012 .

In May 2014, he made his debut for the Bulgarian senior team during a friendly against Canada .
