Aydın started playing football at VfL Winz-Baak, a local district club in Hattingen, and quickly switched to SG Wattenscheid 09 . There he was retired after the C-youth, because it was not considered physically competitive. From 2002 to 2005 he played with friends as a hobby at TSG Sprockhövel in the B and A youth district league.

Career

In 2005, at the age of 18, Aydın was appointed to the first team of TSG Sprockhövel without a professional contract. Two years later he moved to the second team at VfL Bochum for three years . Since then he has been a regular in the first team. His contract with VfL ran until 2014.

In the 2014 summer transfer period, Aydın moved to the Turkish Süper Lig for Eskişehirspor . Here he signed a two-year contract and, due to the Turkish origin of his parents, is eligible to play under a local player status. After just one season he left this club and instead hired the Turkish second division club Göztepe Izmir .

In March 2016, the Swedish club Dalkurd FF signed him . At the beginning of 2017 Aydın returned to Germany and switched to the third division club SC Preußen Münster . There he received a contract until the end of the season.
