background
Stronger with Each Tear followed in December 2009 on the 2007 released eighth studio album Mary J. Bliges, which was entitled Growing Pains . She started working back in 2009. At first she planned to name her album Stronger, as was the name of a song she recorded for the documentary More Than a Game . Ultimately, she changed the title to Stronger with Each Tear , so that her two songs Stronger and Each Tear (which is included on the album) are included in the album title. For the album, Blige recorded several duets with renowned rappers , including Drake and TI. She recorded the song Each Tear in different versions, in Germany Reamonn- Frontmann Rea Garvey could be heard as a background singer.
