Forest lake, nearby the seat of the nature park administration |
The Stubbenloch is a small forest lake south of the L 43 leading from Eisenhüttenstadt to Friedland in the Schlaubetal Nature Park . It lies between Groß Muckrow in the west and Treppeln in the east.
Originally, this small lake was the uppermost mill pond, also called Kleiner Wirchensee , which was created by damming . The Kleine Horst is located between it and the actual Wirchensee ; it is bounded to the west by the Schlaube. There is a hotel on the little eyrie. A few hundred meters south is the Great Horst . It protrudes over 200 m into the lake.
The Stubbe hole is covered by dense bodies White lily covered, in the shore area with partly as a rocking edge developed reeds . On the bank there are willow bushes and alder hives . The lake shows strong signs of silting up , due to the high nutrient richness, large stocks of horn leaves , water swaths and plenty of duckweed grow in the bank area .
From the Großer Horst you have a good observation point, you can see gray herons , black and red kites , tree falcons and ospreys . Am Wirchensee also be grebes , goldeneye , heron , Tableware and teal observed. In the surrounding forests you can hike along information trails and watch black woodpeckers , stock doves and common ravens . The raccoon dog has been found in the vicinity of the water since the 1970s .
