The Rifugio Guide della Val d'Ayas (also Rifugio Lambronecca ) is a refuge in the Aosta Valley in the Valais Alps . It is located at an altitude of 3425 m in the Valle d'Ayas side valley near the Ghiacciaio di Verra glacier within the municipality of Ayas . The hut is open from mid-April to mid-May and from mid-June to mid-September and offers 72 (sometimes 80) mountaineers beds during this time.
Ascent
The refuge can be reached within 1½ hours from the Rifugio Ottorino Mezzalama . The last part of the ascent is reserved for experienced alpine climbers. From the Valle d'Ayas, the ascent time is therefore 5½ hours from the district of Saint-Jacques.

The refuge in its current appearance was inaugurated in 1989.
