The Sturmberg is a 771.1 m above sea level. NHN high elevation in the Upper Swabian hill country on a ridge in the Linzgau . The survey is on the boundaries of the communities Ostrach and Illmensee in the Baden-Württemberg district of Sigmaringen .
The summit area was redesigned in April 2010. There is now a 5.20 meter tall oak floor cross, a bench and a boulder that is more than two meters long and wide.
Living spaces
There are two living spaces on the Sturmberg :
- The houses in the Sturmberg : They belong to the Ruschweiler district , a district of the Illmensee community.
- The Sturmberg farm : It belongs to the Burgweiler district , a village in the Ostrach community and was named on the Sturmberg (field name ?) Around 1300 .
Wind farm
Not far from the summit has been the Sturmberg wind farm with three 60-meter wind turbines belonging to the Illmensee municipality .
