The swamp moor Dose is a former nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipalities of Friedeburg in the district of Wittmund and Schortens in the district of Friesland .

The former nature reserve with the registration number NSG WE 154 was 43  hectares in size. Of this, 32 hectares were in the Wittmund district and 11 hectares in the Friesland district. The former nature reserve is part of the FFH area "Upjever and Swamp Moor Dose". The area has been under nature protection since December 22, 1984. On February 1, 2019, the newly designated nature reserve “ Upjever and Swamp Moor Dose ” opened up. Responsible lower nature conservation authorities were the districts of Wittmund and Friesland.

The former nature reserve is formed by a peated high moor and is now largely overgrown with birch bog forest. In abandoned peat cuttings and lower lying areas, peatland has rewetted after rewetting .
