Supe is a city in the province of Barranca in the Lima region of central western Peru . Supe is the seat of the district of the same name . The city had 12,492 inhabitants at the 2017 census. Ten years earlier the population was 10,967.
Geographical location
The 45 m above sea level town of Supe is 3 km east of the coastal town of Supe Puerto on the Pacific Ocean . Irrigated agriculture is practiced in the vicinity of the city. The national road 1N ( Panamericana ) runs east of the city.
