The Superferry 14 was a Philippine cargo and passenger ship on February 27, 2004 after a bombing of the Abu Sayyaf in fire fell and sank. 116 passengers and crew members were killed. It was the most casualty bomb attack in the history of the Philippines .

The ship was in 1981 as White Sanpo 2 at the shipyard Hayashikane Shipbuilding & Engineering Company in Shimonoseki for the Japanese shipping company Sanpo Kaiun KK in Imabari built. In February 1981 the ship with the hull number 1240 was launched and in June 1981 it was put into service. In 2000 the ferry was sold to WG & A Jebsens in Manila, who renamed the ship SuperFerry 14 .
On the night of February 26th to 27th, 2004, the ferry with about 900 people on board was about 1.5 hours after leaving Manila on a journey from Manila to Bacolod City near the island of Corregidor , at around 00:50 a.m. a bomb hidden in a television set detonated and set the ship on fire. The ship then sank. 63 people died directly from the explosion of the bomb, which consisted of around four kg of TNT , and a further 53 people later went missing.
