Suro-Craic
The Suco Suro-Craic is located in the east of the Ainaro administrative office.  The place Suro-Craic is in the north of the Sucos.

The East Timorese place Suro-craic ( Suro-Craik , Surocraic , Suro Craique , "sub-Suro") is in Suco Suro-craic ( Office of Administration Ainaro , community Ainaro ).

The place

The place Suro-Craic is at an altitude of 458  m above sea level. In the immediate vicinity of Suro-Craic are the places Bazar in the north and Ailau in the south. There is a medical post and a primary school in Suro-Craic.

1104 people live in the Suco (2015), of which 562 are men and 542 women. The population density is 34.8 inhabitants / km². There are 182 households in the Suco. Over 90% of the residents state Mambai as their mother tongue. About 5% speak Tetum Prasa .

Before the 2015 regional reform, Suro-Craic had an area of ​​27.88 km². Now there are 31.71 km². In the north and northwest is the Suco Soro . The river Cehul , which forms part of the border, has its source in the border area with Soro . The Buronuno depicts the mouth of Cehul the west the border to Suco Cassa . The eastern border to Suco Leolima (administrative office Hato-Udo ) forms the Belulik . At the southern tip of Suro-Craic the Buronuno flows into the Belulik. Apart from Suro-Craic, further north in the Suco are the two villages Nó-Ulo ( Noulo ) and Ria-Mori ( Riamori , Reamori ).

The four Aldeias Ailau , Bazar , Nó-Ulo and Ria-Mori are located in Suro-Craic .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Alarico Ferreira Verdial was elected Chefe de Suco. Luciano dos Reis won the elections in 2009 and Ronaldo Soares in 2016 .
