Susann König (born May 16, 1987 in Dippoldiswalde ) is a former German biathlete . She started on August 1, 2005 as a member of the customs ski team for SSV Altenberg .

König started biathlon in 1995 and was able to attract attention for the first time at the Junior World Championships in 2005 in Kontiolahti with 6th place in the sprint and 5th place in the pursuit race. In the following years she achieved several top placings in the European Junior Cup and national championships. On December 29, 2007 she took part in the World Team Challenge in the Veltins-Arena together with her running partner Florian Graf . She celebrated her greatest successes to date at the Junior World Championships in Ruhpolding in 2008 with two titles in the individual competition and relay race, after she was already second behind her teammate Magdalena Neuner in the sprint .

In 2008, König was honored in the categories of Junior World Championships and Most Successful Young Athletes at the Junior World Championships at the Sports Awards of the Ski Association of Saxony .
