Susanne Höggerl

Susanne Höggerl (born August 28, 1972 in Graz ) is an Austrian television presenter .

Life

Höggerl studied journalism and communication sciences in combination with linguistics and political sciences at the University of Vienna and graduated in 1995. She worked as an editor at Radio Wien , the private radio stations Antenne Steiermark and Radio Stephansdom as well as for print media . She moderated the short messages “Newsflash” on ORF from October 14, 2002 until her baby break. Her parental leave lasted from October 12, 2006 to July 19, 2007. Afterwards she presented the follow-up program ZIB Flash . After her return from her second parental leave at the end of January, she moderated the ZIB at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., and also at 11 a.m. on Sundays. From August 5, 2013 to October 2014, she alternated with Martin Ferdiny as maternity leave replacement for Ute Hofstätter-Pichler , presenting the ORF magazine Today Noon and Today Austria . From October 1, 2014 to May 27, 2015, she moderated the ZIB at 5 p.m. as maternity leave substitute for Marie-Claire Zimmermann and, together with Tarek Leitner, the time in the picture at 7:30 p.m. On May 27, 2015, she switched to the daily ZIB issues at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., on Sundays also at 11 a.m., as well as to Today Noon and Today Austria , because Marie-Claire Zimmermann's parental leave ended on this day.

Since May 1, 2017, Höggerl has again moderated ZIB 1 together with Tarek Leitner, as Marie-Claire Zimmermann switched to the ZIB daily editions and today's broadcasts. In November 2018 it was announced that Höggerl would present the main news at 7:30 p.m. from January 2019 together with Johannes Marlovits .

Private

Susanne Höggerl has been married to Felix Kossdorff since 2005, whom she has known since school in Graz and with whom she has two children.
