Martin Ferdiny
Martin Ferdiny (* 1966 in Schwarzach im Pongau , Land Salzburg ) is an Austrian musician and presenter who lives in Salzburg and Vienna .
life and career
He completed his studies in clarinet and piano at the Salzburg Mozarteum in 1990 with distinction. For four years he taught at various grammar schools and the Salzburg Music School. Since 1994 he has worked for private broadcasters (Radio Melody, Welle 1 ) and for ORF, initially for Radio Salzburg , with brief interruptions .
In addition to stage and cabaret music etc. a. For and for the Salzburg State Theater he also designed music animation projects as part of the Salzburg Mozart Exhibition.

Ferdiny is the founder and musical director of the soul band FUN-tastic , in which he alternates between playing keyboard , saxophone , flute , clarinet and percussion . The duo soulaffair with the singer and wife Tina Ferdiny has existed since 2004.
Martin Ferdiny, who used to work as a model, hosted “ Willkommen Österreich ” from July 2005 to March 2007 together with Martina Rupp , as well as the programs “Well advised Austria”, “ Licht ins Dunkel aus Salzburg” and “Salzburger Kochtipps”. .

From August 21, 2017, Ferdiny presented the shows Mittag in Austria and Aktuell in Austria . Since January 2019, he and Birgit Fenderl have been presenting the early- evening magazine “ Studio 2 ” on ORF 2 .
