Florian Gschaider (born April 3, 1980 in Elixhausen ) is an Austrian dancer. From 1994 to 2015 he was one of the most successful Austrian couple dancers together with Manuela Stöckl . In 2015 the two ended their active professional dance sport career after 23 years. He is World Cup winner over 10 dances, multiple European Championship and World Cup finalist among amateurs and professionals as well as 16-time state champion amateurs and 11-time state champion professionals.

Life

In the early 1990s, Florian Gschaider and his dance partner Manuela Stöckl started with the tournament dance in Latin , standard and combination (10 dances). In 1997 they won the title of youth champion in Latin; national and international titles followed. Florian Gschaider is a state-certified trainer for dance, licensed judge for standard and Latin American dances, ZUMBA instructor and Salzburg regional association trainer . He works as a trainer for all ages and levels of ability in dance clubs throughout Austria as well as in southern Germany. His headquarters are in Salzburg , where he works for the TC / TSC Stardance Elixhausen and Hallein and the dance club Team 7 Salzburg. In 2015 he founded the Danceteam Emotion OG together with Manuela Stöckl, a provider of training, workshops and coaching for dance athletes. Gschaider studied at the Austrian private university Schloss Seeburg .

Dancing stars

In 2011 Florian Gschaider appeared for the first time in the 6th season of Dancing Stars on ORF and achieved second place with Alexandra Meissnitzer . In 2012 and 2013 he was also with Sueli Menezes (retired in the 5th program) and Monika Salzer (retired in the 7th program) at the start. In the 10th season of Dancing Stars he danced with Verena Scheitz ; together they won the 10th season. In 2017 he danced with the cabaret artist Monica Weinzettl .
