Susanne Krahe

Susanne Krahe (born November 27, 1959 in Unna ) is a German Protestant theologian and writer .

Life

Krahe studied Protestant theology in Münster from 1978 to 1985 . Until 1989 she worked there at the Old Testament Seminary as a research assistant . In 1989 she went blind as a result of diabetes , which ended her scientific career. Since then she has been working as a freelance writer and author in Unna and has written radio reports, radio plays , novels and her autobiography .

In 2001 Susanne Krahe received the Robert Geisendörfer Prize , the media prize of the Evangelical Church , for her radio play Lisabetha .
