Susanne Riegelnik

Susanne Riegelnik (born September 24, 1948 in Budapest ) is an Austrian artist.

Life

Riegelnik was a student of the actionist Hermann Nitsch . Since 1983 she has had exhibitions in Vienna and abroad. There was also collaboration on several children's books. In 1993, Hermann Nitsch attended the international summer academy for fine arts in Salzburg. She lives in Vienna and Carinthia .

Riegelnik designs and realizes cityscapes that are shown from a bird's eye view . The individual houses and streets are either dripped onto paper or canvas, creating a haptic modulation that is reminiscent of architectural models.
