Gisela Fiori

Gisela Fiori (born November 3, 1940 in Landshut ; † July 20, 2011 there ) was a German theater and film actress and dance teacher .

Life

Fiori trained as a dance teacher , among others with Rosalia Chladek , a student of Mary Wigman , in Vienna . In 1972 she joined the dance school Tanzschule Petershansl run by her mother as a dance teacher . Since the death of her mother Bertha Trinkler-Petershansl, the daughter of the founder of the school Otto Peterhansl and student of Mary Wigman, Gisela Fiori was the owner and director of the Peterhansl dance school in Landshut.

In the 1980s she founded her own theater group called Comoedi-Spiel , which consisted of amateur actors and played mainly in the Landshut area. At the end of the 1980s, Fiori organized a tent theater festival on the Ringelstecherwiese in Landshut, during which independent theater groups from all over Europe performed.

Since the late 1980s, Fiori devoted himself increasingly to television and theater . Fiori worked as a television actress in various continuous and recurring series roles and in episode roles. She has appeared several times in productions of the Bavarian Radio under the direction of Franz Xaver Bogner , including in the series Zur Freiheit and Café perjury . Bogner wrote the role of waitress Berta in the cult series Zur Freiheit especially for her. In 2008, under Bogner's direction, she played the role of the Schexingen citizen Erna Massinger in the series Der Kaiser von Schexing , who was awarded the city's citizen medal by the mayor.

In addition to her participation in television series for Bayerischer Rundfunk, Fiori also appeared in television productions of theater plays . In 1973 she played the role of cook Babett in the one-act paralyzed swing by Ludwig Thoma under the direction of Kurt Wilhelm at the side of Hans Baur and Luise Deschauer . The recordings were broadcast and repeated on television several times.

Fiori appeared as a stage actress in Munich, among others . She was engaged for three seasons at the Münchner Volkstheater under the direction of Ruth Drexel .

Fiori was also involved as a director in some theater performances in the Lower Bavaria area . At the Nikola Theater in Landshut, she staged the play Late Area by Lida Winiewicz in 2009 .

Fiori died at the age of 70 in her apartment above the dance school, where she was active until the end.
