Susanne Weckerle (* 1964 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .

Life

After studying acting at the Berlin University of the Arts , she worked at the theater of the Freie Volksbühne Berlin and at the Theater am Turm in Frankfurt. Permanent engagements have taken her to the Schauspiel Graz , the Nationaltheater Mannheim and the Württembergische Landesbühne in Esslingen . She has made guest appearances at the Hanover Theater , the Salzburg Festival , the Tübingen State Theater , the State Theater Stuttgart, the Ulm Theater and the Rampe Theater in Stuttgart. The directors Volker Lösch , Carlos Manuel , Alejandro Quintana , Olga Wildgruber , Sandrine Hutinet and Sewan Latchinian as well as Lutz Graf , Markus Dietz , Martin Kušej , Hans Kresnik and Franz Wittenbrink were influential .

She has been a member of the Tübingen State Theater ensemble since 2016.

Occasionally she also appears in TV and cinema productions and works as a spokesperson for Arte and for the first time in 2014 for the Eclat Festival for New Music in Stuttgart.
