Gero Weinreuter
Gero Weinreuter (born January 30, 1971 in Tübingen ) is a German feature film director .
Life
During his school days, Gero Weinreuter made numerous award-winning auteur films that were also broadcast on television. After completing his apprenticeship as a decorator , he began working as an advertising director at av-studios in 1993. Numerous advertising and image films were made within five years.
In September 1998 Gero Weinreuter founded the commercial film production “Leithaus GmbH Filmproduktion” together with Andreas Kunert (producer). After 16 years of advertising experience and numerous international productions and awards, Gero Weinreuter is concentrating on fictional directing for television series and television films .
