The Světlá (German light water ) is a right tributary of the Cold Moldau / Studená Vltava in the Czech Republic .

The Světlá rises on the northern slope of the Dreiecksmark / Trojmezí (1321 m nm) on the Bavarian Plöckenstein / Trojmezná hora (1361 m nm) on the ridge of the Bohemian Forest . At its upper reaches, the stream flows with a steep gradient through the Trojmezná hora natural monument from the saddle to the northwest.

Its middle course runs near the Bavarian border east of the Dreisesselberg / Třístoličník (1333 m) and west of the Forstjanowskyberge (988 m nm). At the southeastern foot of the Spitzenberg / Špičák (1021 m) the New Schwarzenberg alluvial canal was diverted to Jelení at the Rosenauerstein . Then the Světlá flows east of the Spitzenberg / Špičák and the Kamenná (Steinkopf, 978 m nm) and west of the Václavova hora ( Forstwenzelberg , 1030 m nm) and the Great Donkey Forest (963 m nm) through the forests of the Bohemian Forest. At its lower course the stream is bridged by the Číčenice – Haidmühle railway line. After 11.5 kilometers, the Světlá flows into the Cold Vltava below Nové Údolí at the foot of the Lorenz Mountains .

The entire course of the stream runs through forests in the Šumava National Park .
