Svend Langkjær
Svend Langkjær (born August 23, 1886 in Nykøbing Falster , † May 2, 1948 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish high jumper , long jumper , shot putter , hammer thrower and decathlete .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he was eighth in the standing vault . In the standing long jump he did not make it into the top seven.
In 1912 he finished the decathlon after three disciplines at the Olympic Games in Stockholm .
He was three times Danish champion in high jump (1909, 1910, 1912) and once each in hammer throw (1910) and in the shot put (1924).
