Swamp Creek is a tributary of the Sammamish River in Snohomish County and King Counties in Washington state .
Swamp Creek begins on Lake Stickney near Everett . In Kenmore it flows into the Sammamish River, which in turn flows into Lake Washington .
Major tributaries
A large amount of water flows into Swamp Creek from smaller streams.
- Scriber Creek, mostly within the Lynnwood city limits , flows into Swamp Creek near Brier .
- Golde Creek, which has its source near Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, flows into Scriber Creek in Brier.
- Poplar Creek, flowing primarily near Poplar Way outside of Lynnwood, joins Scriber Creek near Brier.
- Martha Creek, rises on Martha Lake, flows into Swamp Creek near Locust Way and Washington State Route 524 / Filbert Road east of Lynnwood.
