Swantje Basan (born August 3, 1986 in Greifswald ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .
Career indoor volleyball
Basan learned to play volleyball on Rügen at VfL Bergen . Later she played in the regional league at DVV base Schwerin and in the junior national team. In 2004 the universally applicable player switched to the second division club 1. VC Parchim . In 2004 Basan went to the Bundesliga club WiWa Hamburg and a year later to the second division club 1. VC Norderstedt . Since 2008 she played again for two years in the first Bundesliga at VT Aurubis Hamburg and then for two years with Aurubis II in the second Bundesliga. Since 2012 Basan has been playing in her homeland in West Pomerania for the second division Stralsunder Wildcats .
Career beach volleyball
Basan was also active in national beach volleyball tournaments. Your partners were u. a. Linda Dörendahl , Kathleen Weiß , Veronik Sarah Skorupka and Anne Krohn . The most valuable result was the 2004 final with Dörendahl at the Renault Beach Cup in Binz .
Private
Basan became a mother in 2018.
