Sweet Home Chicago Open 2008

The 2008 Sweet Home Chicago Open took place September 9-16, 2008 in Chicago , Illinois , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2008/09 and belonged to Category 3 Star . It was endowed with $ 30,000.

In the first edition of the tournament, Peter Barker and David Palmer met in the final . Barker won the game with 15:13, 11: 9 and 11: 2 and thus his eleventh career title on the PSA World Tour .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Alain Osman Muldeen a spot in the main draw.
