In 1970 she won bronze in the 2000 meter relay at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Vienna .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, she came in fifth.
In 1977 she was fourth at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in San Sebastián and third at the European Athletics Cup in Helsinki and the World Athletics Cup in Düsseldorf .
In 1977 she became Soviet champion and in 1977 and 1979 Soviet indoor champion.
