Swjatlana Belan also Swetlana Belan (born August 10, 1975 ) is a former Belarusian biathlete .

Svetlana Belan denied their first international race at the start of the World Cup of the 1995/96 season in Östersund , where she was 65th Single Page. The highlight of the season was the 1996 World Championships in Ruhpolding . Belan was 68th of the individual and came with Natalia Ryschenkowa , Natalia Permiakowa and Swetlana Paramygina in sixth place in the relay race. In 1997 she achieved her best placement in the World Cup with a 31st place in a sprint in Ruhpolding. The highlight was again the 1997 World Championships in Osrblie , where the Belarusian was 63rd in the sprint and thus missed the pursuit race by three places. The season reached eighth place in the line-up of the previous year, in the team race it ran with Natalia Permiakowa, Irina Tananaiko and Natalia Murschtschakina to tenth place. Until 1998 she came to other World Cup races. The last international championships were the 2000 European championships in Kościelisko . Belan was 25th of the individual, 33rd of the sprint, 30th of the pursuit race and just missed winning a relay medal with Alena Walkawez , Inna Scheschkil and Swetlana Paramygina in fourth place.
