Natallja Anatoljeuna Ryschankowa ( Belarusian Наталля Анатольеўна Рыжанкова ; born July 7, 1972 in Magadan , Soviet Union ) is a former Belarusian biathlete .
Career
Natallja Ryschankowa lives and trained in Mahiljou . The army employee started for Dynamo Mahiljou . The wife of the biathlete Oleg Ryschenkow began biathlon in 1989. She made her debut in the Biathlon World Cup at the beginning of the 1992/93 season in Pokljuka , when the new national associations started for the first time after the split up of the Soviet Union . During the season she took part in a world championship for the first time in Borovets . In the individual, she came in 39th place, was Natalia Permiakowa , Natalja Sycheva and Swetlana Paramygina fifth and won the silver medal in the team competition behind the team from France. As the season progressed, she won World Cup points for the first time as 20th in a sprint in Lillehammer . Until almost the end of the decade, she was able to score in almost every season. The next major event was the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. In the individual the Belarusian reached the 49th place, with Irina Kukujewa , Permiakowa and Paramygina she was sixth in the relay race. At the World Championships in Canmore , where the non-Olympic competitions were held, the Belarusian won the world championship in the team competition with Permiakowa, Kukujewa and Paramygina.
Her most successful world championship ran Ryschankowa in 1996 in Ruhpolding . In the sprint she missed the top ten in 20th place, in the individual she finished eighth and with Permiakowa, Swjatlana Belan and Paramygina sixth place in the relay race. At the European Championships in Ridnaun , she won the bronze medal in the relay race with Permiakowa and Paramygina. In 1997 in Antholz she achieved her best result in a World Cup race with a seventh place in an individual. Shortly thereafter Ryschankowa took part in Osrblie for the fourth time in world championships , where she was 61st of the individual, 35th of the sprint, 32nd of the pursuit and with Permiakowa, Belan and Paramygina eighth relay. A year later, the Belarusian competed in Nagano for the second time at the Winter Olympics . In the competitions held on the routes of Nozawa Onsen Ryschankowa was 19th of the individual, 51st of the sprint and with Irina Tananaiko , Natalia Murschtschakina and Paramygina 12th with the Belarusian relay. After the Olympic Games, she took part in international races for another season . Later in the year Ryschankowa was in Osrblie with Tananaiko, Murschtschakina and Paramygina at the Summer Biathlon World Championships 1998 relay world champion. In a World Cup relay race in Osrblie, the Belarusian came second and thus reached the podium in a World Cup race for the only time. The last highlight was the 1999 biathlon world championships in Kontiolahti . She finished 13th in the sprint and was 17th in the pursuit. In Osrblie she ran her last race in the World Cup and was 66th in a sprint race.
